Frequently asked questions
What does LastClock do?
LastClock shows you how many days remain until a "final birthday" you choose yourself — a personal estimate, not a prediction. Alongside the countdown, it offers daily motivational quotes matched to your mood, mood tracking, a bucket list for life goals, and lock screen widgets.
How do I set my final birthday?
During onboarding, you'll enter your birthdate and choose a final birthday — any future date you pick, based on however you want to estimate it. You can change it later in Settings.
Is LastClock free?
Yes. LastClock is free to download and use, supported by ads from Google AdMob. A one-time in-app purchase of £0.99 removes ads permanently — no subscription, ever.
I paid to remove ads but I'm still seeing them. What do I do?
Open Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases." Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and restores instantly, even after reinstalling or switching iPhones.
How does mood-based quote matching work?
Log how you're feeling with a quick emoji tap — happy, grateful, motivated, calm, neutral, anxious, sad, stressed, or tired — and LastClock surfaces a quote suited to that mood. Without a mood logged, you still get a new quote every day, rotating on a daily cycle.
What is the bucket list feature?
A place to track life goals alongside your countdown — add a title, category (Travel, Career, Health, Creative, and more), priority, and an optional target date. Mark items complete and track overall progress with a visual bar.
How do I add the lock screen widget?
Long-press your lock screen, tap Customize, add a widget, and search for LastClock. Circular, rectangular, and inline styles are available (iOS 16+), plus a small widget for your home screen. Widgets refresh automatically at midnight.
Does LastClock track me?
Your countdown, mood log, and bucket list never leave your device. LastClock does show ads through Google AdMob, which may request permission to track you across apps for ad personalization (App Tracking Transparency) — you can decline this in the permission prompt or later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and it has no effect on how the app itself works.
